As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. On our team, you’ll build a tailormade solution for the AWS Cloud Edge Global Access (CEGA) framework. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment using current cloud capabilities. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with development teams and intelligence mission experts to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. You’ll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You’ll lead your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you’ll broaden your skill set in areas like network routing and SD-WAN configuration while developing critical systems for intelligence and national security. You Have: 2+ years of experience with developing enterprise AWS solutions, 2+ years of experience with software development tools and methodologies, Experience with routing and SD-WAN, TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, HS diploma or GED. Nice If You Have: Experience writing scripts using tools such as Python or Bash, Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and using tools such as Terraform, Knowledge of AWS Cloud Edge Global Access (CEGA) framework, Ability to work in development environments using JavaScript and AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), Bachelor’s degree, AWS Certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
